What is a remote lithium battery BMS repair?
A remote lithium battery BMS repair is a file service that restores Audi and Porsche 12V / 48V lithium batteries whose Battery Management System has locked after a crash event, deep discharge or voltage drop. You read the BMS data, send the file, and receive a processed file back — from any country.
The BMS protects the lithium cells. When it detects a crash signal or a voltage below its safety threshold it can enter a locked or protected state, which prevents normal battery operation even when the hardware is still functional. Clearing that state in the file means the battery can often return to service instead of being replaced.
What are the symptoms of a locked BMS?
- Battery not charging or entering protection mode

Why won't a normal charger wake the battery up?
These are not lead-acid batteries. The integrated BMS can open its internal switch and disconnect the external terminals from the cells. A charger or jump-starter on the terminals then has nothing to charge. The lock is stored in the BMS data, which is why the file has to be processed before the battery behaves normally again.
